Thomen's letter to his mother and father from camp in Laurel County (Ky.). Writes about the battle at Camp Wildcat (Rockcastle Hills or Wildcat Mountain). Letter also describes the retreating Confederates. An addition dated 27 Oct. 1861 discuess the battle, religious services, and business matters.
